Splashy Toes will now be open on Sundays aswell as the usual times outlined on the Pool Time Tab. This will only be until the end of the holidays due to the period that the pool was inaccessible to children over the past month causing missed lessons.
Kids swim now resumes as usual. We look forward to seeing all our younger truGym members back in the pool!! A kind reminder that under 16's are not allowed in the spa, jacuzzi or garden.

We did it!!
We are pleased to confirm that we have been able to install a temporary boiler that will be in place until the end of September.
What does this mean? It means that the pool will get back up to its usual temperature of 29-30* in the next few days, and the jacuzzi the same, reaching a toasty high of 37-38*
Come first week of October, we expect our part to be delivered for our permanent boiler. Should there be any changes, we will - as always - keep you updated every step of the way.

We have an update!
So, as advised, we have been working behind the scenes looking at the possibility of renting a temporary boiler. This has been beyond time consuming, hence the delay, because we need to be sure that this is a compatible option and have been working with plumbers, electricians to get to this point.
Now, we believe we have found a solution, (be it expensive!) that will allow us to welcome children and those impacted by the temperature, back into the pool!!
We will update you shortly, and let's all keep our fingers crossed!! This has been a huge project and we appreciate everyone's patience, from Members, Spa Days, Tenants, Day passes, and Splashy Toes. Splashy Toes will be back asap, and we can't wait to see them!!

This week we have been working on the potential of installing a temporary pool heating system as previously advised. This would bring the temperature back up to the usual 29.5-30* until the parts are received and fitted to our boiler in October.
Turns out there is a lot more involved to do this, so we aren't 100% sure its achievable, which is why there has been no update!
Should this not be possible, then we will update you of what comes next with regards to catering for those effected and unable to use the pool whilst at a lower temperature.
This includes Splashy Toes Swim School and their members! We appreciate all Jen's parents and little swimmers patience whilst lessons are disrupted. I wish I had a better update, but rest assured, stick with us and truGym will be making it up to all the school's customers - so watch this space!

We are pleased to advise that, after the team working overtime this weekend, the steam room is now repaired and open!
The pool is operating at 23.5* and whilst this is being enjoyed by some members, we are in talks regarding a potential temporary heating system.
We will update you of the outcome as soon as possible.
If this isn’t an option, we will communicate our plans to cater for those impacted by pool temperature during the 12 weeks repair time.
For now, POOL USERS MUST read the key information displayed around the club, and also FOLLOW ADVICE posted poolside.

Due to new and unforeseen circumstances, the pool is CLOSED completely this weekend. There is now an issue with the steam room that demands immediate remedial works, and with the temperature of the pool dropping to 26*, action is being taken on both issues.
Action taken: Steam room rooms all weekend for works & temp heater install for pool being secured.
We hope that by doing this, we will have full spa services open again by Monday, and should have another update on the pool itself.
We are working as hard as possible to get all services back to full working order by Wednesday next week.

It's with difficulty that I advise the expected timescale for repair is 12 weeks.
We have tried everything we can to source parts quicker, referring to several different companies, but this is the soonest possible.
The pool garden will reopen, however kids swim will remain closed.
In the meantime we are looking at various options such as temporary pool heaters and kids clubs to support our younger members. Please bare with me whilst I try and navigate this unpredictable but disappointing situation.

Unfortunately the engineers were not able to fix the problem on Friday, advising that it requires new parts. Because of the type of boiler it is, this will not be a quick fix, and right now we are awaiting an update on these parts being sourced and their ETA.
Whilst the spa is still open, the outdoor pool area remains closed until we know more. Please understand, as explained previously, this is so we can keep the pool open. Should the pool temperature drop too much we would have to consider closing it - so closing the garden is a small sacrifice we would hope :)
We have also made the decision to remove Children's swim times. Children will be welcome back to the pool once at a warmer temperature.
We appreciate your patience and will update you again as soon as we have news. Hopefully this will be tomorrow.

Due to a technical fault that occurred 09.07.26, the swimming pool temperature has dropped by approximately 3°C below its usual operating range.
Emergency engineering works were completed yesterday, however parts are required and on order. We are doing everything we can to maintain the current pool temperature and prevent it from dropping further while the issue is resolved.
Although a 3°C decrease may not seem significant, it can be more noticeable for some members, particularly older adults, young children, and those recovering from injuries or with certain health conditions.
To help retain heat and minimise any further temperature loss, we have temporarily closed the outdoor garden area to maintain a more consistent poolside environment.
Unfortunately, this issue may also affect the jacuzzi. Due to its smaller volume of water, the temperature may fluctuate more significantly, and we may need to temporarily close the jacuzzi if it falls below an acceptable operating temperature.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, we will provide an update as soon as possible
